Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty received a phone call on Monday from Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis to review regional developments and ways to strengthen cooperation.
Abdelatty outlined Egypt’s intensive diplomatic contacts aimed at de‑escalation and reaffirmed Cairo’s support for resolving crises through dialogue and peaceful means to safeguard regional stability. The two ministers also exchanged views on regional security arrangements to bolster peace and security.
They praised the momentum in Egyptian‑Greek relations across various fields, underlining the strategic partnership between the two countries and their commitment to building on recent high‑level visits and contacts to advance political and economic cooperation for the benefit of both peoples.
