Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his visiting German counterpart Annalena Baerbock held talks in Cairo earlier Tuesday.
The meeting took up bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The talks particularly focused on the situation in the Gaza Strip.
The two top diplomats are expected to hold a joint press conference later today.
