During his visit to Beirut on Thursday, and in line with directives from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Foreign Minister Badr Abde-Aati visited a shelter for displaced persons (Rawdat Omar Al-Ansari).
He met a number of affected families.
Abdel-Aati conveyed a message of full support and solidarity from Egypt’s leadership and people.
He stressed that Egypt will spare no effort in standing by Lebanon to overcome the current crisis.
He also highlighted the humanitarian assistance delivered to the Lebanese people. He said this reflects the historic brotherly ties between the two nations.
