CAIRO- In a phone call with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty praised the longstanding ties between Egypt and Pakistan, expressing keenness on boosting bilateral cooperation and opening new horizons to develop partnership between the two countries in a way that achieves mutual benefits for both countries.
The two ministers discussed developments in South Asia following the recent terrorist attack in Kashmir. Abdelatty underlined the need to de-escalate the situation, exercise self-restraint, and avoid further tensions in order to support security and stability in the region.The Pakistani official lauded relations between the two countries and asserted his country’s commitment to enhance bilateral ties in all domains.
He also expounded his country’s stance towards the recent developments in South Asia.
