Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will head Sunday evening to Amman to participate in a meeting on Syria, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.
Representatives from Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Iraq will also attend the meeting, added the spokesman.
The committee is scheduled to discuss ways to tackle the Syrian crisis, including standing by Syrian people in their ordeal.
The committee emanates from the consultative meeting of the foreign ministers of Jordan, Iraq, Egypt and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, which was held in Jeddah on April 14 to discuss ways of promoting the joint Arab action.
