Egypt has extended its heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathies to the government and people of Syria following the deadly road accident on the Deir ez-Zor–Damascus highway, which left dozens dead and injured, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Egyptian Expatriates said in a statement on Saturday.
The ministry reaffirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with Syria during this tragic incident, expressing its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
