Egypt has affirmed its support for all steps, measures and legal and security procedures undertaken by the authorities in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain to protect the country’s security, preserve its national resources and maintain internal stability, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Saturday.
Egypt reiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and renewed its rejection of any attempts to undermine the stability of countries in the region. Cairo also stressed its firm stance that the security of Bahrain and the fellow Gulf states constitutes an integral part of Egypt’s national security.
