Egypt expressed on Thursday its sincere condolences to the friendly Republic of India over the victims of the Indian Airlines plane that crashed near Ahmedabad Airport in western India earlier in the day, leaving large number of casualties.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Egypt affirmed its full solidarity with the Indian government and people in facing the aftermath of this tragic incident.
Egypt also extended its heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims, both from India and other nationalities, added the statement.
