Egypt’s Minister of Agriculture el Sayyed el Qusair and Equatorial Guinea Minister of Fisheries and Water Resources Francisco Catalán discussed means of boosting cooperation, asserting the depth of the historic ties between Egypt and Equatorial Guniea.
Exchanging visits boost ties between both countries, Qusair said.
Qusair reviewed Egypt’s stories of success and its global and regional ranking in the field of fisheries in addition to reaching self-sufficiency of the fish products via training and improving the abilities of the workers.
Egypt can present necessary technical support to Equatorial Guinea in addition to improving the value chains in this pivotal sector, Qusair said.
Meanwhile, Catalán asserted that his country is looking forward to cooperating with Egypt’s specialized cadres to conduct studies vis-a-vis his country’s needs for training and fish manufacturing in order to contribute to adding a value to fish products in Equatorial Guinea.
