Egypt has strongly condemned the renewed Iranian attacks against Kuwait and Bahrain, describing such attacks as a dangerous escalation and an unacceptable violation of the sovereignty of both countries.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday, Egypt stressed that such actions threaten security and stability in the Gulf region and exacerbate regional tensions at a critical time.
The statement reaffirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain and its unwavering support for all measures taken by the two countries to safeguard their security, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Egypt also underscored that the security of the Arab Gulf states is an integral part of Egyptian and Arab national security, reiterating its firm rejection of any actions or practices that threaten the security of sisterly Arab states or undermine regional stability.
