Egypt has expressed its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to Saudi Arabia following the helicopter crash in the Ras Tanura region, which resulted in a number of fatalities.
In an official statement by the Foreign Ministry on Monday, Egypt affirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom over the tragic event, underscoring the deep fraternal ties that bind the two countries and their peoples.
Cairo extended its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as the Saudi government and people, wishing continued security, stability and peace for the Kingdom and its people.
Fourteen people were killed when a helicopter crashed in Saudi Arabia, state media reported on Sunday.
The helicopter, belonging to state oil giant Aramco, crashed in the eastern coastal city of Ras Tanura at 06:00 local time (03:00 GMT) killing all those on board, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
All 14 victims were Saudi citizens, it reported, with investigations under way to determine the cause of the crash.
