The Arab Republic of Egypt has condemned the terrorist attack which targeted Pakistani police officers in the city of Bannu, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, resulting in a number of fatalities and injuries.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Sunday, Egypt has reaffirmed its absolute rejection of all forms of violence, terrorism and extremism, and reiterated its longstanding call for strengthened international co-operation to confront and eradicate terrorism in all its manifestations.
It added that Egypt further expressed its full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, extending support for its efforts to safeguard security and stability across the country.
