Egypt has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Niamey International Airport in Niger, resulting in a number of casualties and injuries.
In a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry on Sunday, Cairo reiterated full solidarity with the Niger’s government and people in combatting terrorism and all forms of violence and extremism.
In addition, Egypt extended its heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to Niger, government and people, as well as to victims’ families, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
The statement also reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to carrying out with support people in the Sahel countries in their efforts to combat terrorism and strengthen security and stability across the region.
