Egypt strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting a mosque in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad that left behind a number of casualties.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Egyptian Expatriates on Thursday, Egypt reiterated its firm rejection of all forms of terrorism, violence and extremism.
Egypt emphasized its consistent stand advocating for international efforts to confront all forms of violence and extremism, the statement said.
Egypt also extended its sincere condolences to the Pakistani government and people, wishing those injured swift recovery, it added.
