Egypt strongly condemned the despicable terrorist attack in Iraq’s city of Diyala on Tuesday, killing 13 people and injuring 13 others.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the Iraqi government and people over victims of the attack, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Egypt is siding with Iraq against any threat to its security and stability, added the statement. It also stressed confidence that such desperate terrorist incidents that target unarmed civilians would not affect the Iraq’s will in completing its march towards development and stability and achieve prosperity for all Iraqis.
