Egypt condemned rocket attacks that targeted the city of Erbil in Iraq Monday evening, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of people.
In a statement released by the Foreign Ministry yesterday, Egypt expressed its sincere condolences to the government and people of Iraq and the families of the victims in this abominable terrorist attack, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
Egypt also affirmed its support for Iraq in the measures it takes to protect its security and maintain its stability. It also expressed its confidence in the ability of Iraq to respond decisively to those terrorist practices, which will not deter Iraq from its tireless efforts to establish security across its territories in a way that would preserve its stability and national capabilities.
