Egypt has strongly condemned the repeated and unlawful Iranian attacks targeting the State of Kuwait, describing them as a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the Gulf region.
In a statement issued today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt reaffirmed its outright rejection of any actions that undermine the sovereignty of states or endanger their security and stability, stressing that such acts contravene international law and the UN Charter.
The statement expressed Egypt’s full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures taken by the Kuwaiti government to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and protect its citizens and residents.
