Egypt strongly condemned the missile attacks targeting the sisterly Kingdom of Jordan, calling for an immediate halt to the strikes and warning against further escalation that could threaten security and stability across the region.
In a statement released on Wednesday the Foreign Ministry reaffirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support the measures it takes to safeguard its security, stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Egypt reaffirmed its categorical rejection of any acts of escalation that could widen the conflict calling for restraint and the prioritisation of diplomatic efforts to prevent the region from sliding into further escalation and instability.
