Egypt strongly condemned repeated Israeli incursions into Syrian territory, describing them as a blatant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and a clear breach of international law.
Egypt reaffirmed its firm rejection of all Israeli violations and incursions into Syrian territory, warning that the continued escalation could fuel tensions and undermine security and stability across the region.
Egypt also renewed its full solidarity with Syria and support for its sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
Cairo stressed the need for Israel to withdraw from the occupied Syrian territories and comply with the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
