Egypt has strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain, reaffirming its full solidarity with the four Gulf nations.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced what it described as the Iranian regime’s attacks on the four countries, saying they constitute a blatant violation of their sovereignty. Egypt warned that the escalation poses a grave threat to the security and stability of the Gulf region and undermines ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions and reinforce regional security.
Egypt reiterated its categorical rejection of all Iranian attacks targeting the security and sovereignty of Arab states, stressing that such actions threaten regional peace and stability. It reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Gulf countries and its commitment to stand firmly alongside them in safeguarding their security and protecting their territorial integrity.
The statement further stressed that there can be no justification for what it described as these unacceptable and condemned attacks, calling for an immediate cessation of all military escalation and urging strict adherence to the principles of international law.
Egypt underscored that de-escalation and respect for international law remain essential to preserving regional security and sparing the peoples of the Middle East from further instability and conflict.
