Egypt has strongly condemned the Iranian strike on Kuwait International Airport, describing it as a “heinous attack” that caused injuries and severe damage to airport facilities. The statement stressed that the assault represents a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a dangerous escalation threatening the security and stability of the Gulf region and beyond.
The Egyptian government reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait, pledging unwavering support for the Kuwaiti leadership and people. It also backed all measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its security, protect its territory, and defend vital infrastructure.
Egypt reiterated that the security and stability of Gulf states are a cornerstone of Arab national security, rejecting any acts that undermine state sovereignty or endanger regional peace.
