Egypt has strongly condemned an attempted drone attack targeting Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its solidarity with the kingdom, and firm support in confronting any threats.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of foreign Affairs on Monday, the country voiced backing for all measures Saudi Arabia may take to protect its sovereignty and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents.
Egypt also stressed unwavering commitment to the security of Gulf states, referring to it as a pillar of the country’s own national security and regional stability.
The statement warned that such violations of international law further complicate the current regional situation and undermine efforts aimed at de-escalation and restoring stability.
