Egypt on Saturday condemned in the strongest terms the attacks that took place earlier in the day in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, describing them as a flagrant violation of the kingdom’s security and stability.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said the attacks also violated international law and represented a dangerous escalation that could deepen tensions and destabilise the region.
Egypt categorically rejects any attempt to undermine the security and sovereignty of Saudi Arabia and expressed its full solidarity with the kingdom, as well as its support for any measures it takes to protect its stability and security.
“Saudi Arabia’s security and Egypt’s security are indivisible,” the statement said.
