Egypt strongly denounced the targeting of oil installations in eastern Saudi Arabia as well as the attacks against Jordan, describing them as unacceptable violations of sovereignty and civilian infrastructure, and a flagrant breach of international law. Cairo warned that such acts constitute a dangerous escalation threatening regional stability and global energy security.
The statement affirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and its support for all measures taken by both countries to safeguard their security, stability and vital facilities. It reiterated Egypt’s categorical rejection of any attacks on civilian infrastructure or actions undermining the sovereignty of Arab states.
