Egypt strongly condemned the attacks targeting the Kingdom of Jordan, describing them as a violation of the Jordan’s sovereignty and a dangerous escalation that threatens its security and stability.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, Egypt reaffirmed its full solidarity with Jordan and expressed its complete support for all measures taken by the kingdom to safeguard its security, preserve its sovereignty and protect its territorial integrity.
Egypt also reiterated its firm rejection of any attacks that violate the sovereignty of states or endanger their security, stressing the importance of respecting international law and the principles of state sovereignty.
Egypt called for the immediate cessation of all escalatory actions, urging restraint to help preserve regional security and stability and prevent further deterioration of the situation.
