As part of efforts to strengthen Egyptian‑Chinese co‑operation in the space sector, Majed Ismail, Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian Space Agency, received on Monday a delegation from the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) to discuss ways to enhance collaboration in space infrastructure and satellite development.
The talks focused on expanding technical and scientific co‑operation, exchanging expertise, and supporting the completion of the National Space Data Centre, established under directives of the political leadership to strengthen governance and digital management of space data.
Both sides also reviewed opportunities for future co‑operation in space technology, including benefiting from Chinese expertise in the design and development of space infrastructure and satellite systems.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of commemorative gifts, reflecting the strong co‑operation between Egypt and China in the fields of space science and satellite technology.
