Egypt’s Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defence, and Military Production, Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, met on Saturday in Cairo with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Zukan Helez.
The talks covered a number of issues of mutual interest, and the two sides explored ways to strengthen military co-operation between the two friendly nations.
Zaher expressed pride in the longstanding ties between Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina, praising the growing military co-operation between the two countries in a manner that serves their shared interests.
For his part, Helez commended Egypt’s pivotal role in promoting regional security and stability, expressing hope for closer cooperation between the armed forces of both countries in the coming period.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two ministers signed a defence co-operation agreement.
