Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah el Din Moustafa Sunday asserted the strength of well-established historic and fruitful co-operation relations between Egypt and Bahrain.

The minister of state made the remarks during a meeting with Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal at the premises of the Ministry of Military Production in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).

He underscored the keenness of the Military Production Ministry on continuing promoting co-operation between the two sides alongside making ample room for strategic partnership towards creating more promising investment opportunities.

He highlighted support provided for bilateral relations by both President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The meeting probed co-operation between firms of the Military Production Ministry and firms of Bahrain operating in several industrialisation fields, minister Salah el Din said.

He added that the meeting reviewed the manufacturing, technical, technological and human capacities of companies that are affiliated to the Military Production Ministry.

Meanwhile, ambassador Zainal expressed appreciation for the warm reception and hailed the massive development leap achieved by Egypt, despite difficult challenges facing the world.

She praised the positive momentum witnessed by relations between Egypt and Bahrain as a role model for close ties between brethren countries in all domains.

The ambassador hailed the role of Military Production Ministry in achieving a leap in Egypt’s military and civil industrialization, asserting eagerness of Bahrain’s firms to open new vistas of co-operation with the Military Production Ministry, in light of its competent research and human cadres as well as an outstanding infrastructure.

Salah el Din and Zainal asserted the significance of exchanging technical delegations in order to get first hand information about potential and know-how of each side, along with outlining spheres of prospective co-operation in domains of shared interest, according to Mohamed Eid Bakr, the Media Advisor to the Minister of State Salah el Dien.
