CAIRO – Irrigation and water resources Minister Hani Sewilam discussed on Sunday with Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal future cooperation in the water resources domain.
The minister reiterated Egypt’s keenness on furthering cooperation with all Arab countries through exchanging ideas and benefiting from successful experiments.
He said Egypt welcomes any co-operation with Bahrain in the field of agricultural wastewater treatment.
He also underlined the importance of joint co-operation in water desalination domain as part of efforts to address water and food challenges.
He added that Bahrain was invited to boost adaptation initiative with climate changes in water domain that aims at providing support for developing nations.
