The Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) has signed a co-operation protocol with SITAEL, a company specialising in the development, production, and qualification of satellite products and subsystems, aimed at strengthening international collaboration in space technology and advancing knowledge exchange in the field.
The protocol was signed on Wednesday at EgSA headquarters by the Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian Space Agency, Dr Maged Ismail, and the representative of SITAEL, Mr Marko Molina.
A number of senior officials from the agency, alongside representatives of the company attended the signing ceremony.
The agreement is intended to promote innovation in space applications, enhance national capabilities in satellite technology and remote sensing, and examine prospects for future joint initiatives between the two parties.
The EgSA stated that this partnership is consistent with its strategic direction to expand international co-operation and to harness space technologies in support of sustainable development objectives.
