QENA, Upper Egypt –Egypt’s Local Development Minister Mahmoud Shaarawi said Saturday that the government has pumped investments worth 53.6 billion Pounds to implement development projects in the Upper Egypt governorates.
Shaarawi’s comments came during the inauguration of several development projects in Qena.
The minister expounded the efforts of developing the Upper Egypt governorates during 2014-2021, which included infrastructure projects, eradicating illiteracy, and others.
