Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit asserted that the effect of deliberate destruction caused by Israel in the Gaza Strip would remain for decades to indicate the hideous war crimes and show that the world was not able to stop the Israeli aggression.
This came in Abul Gheit’s word in Arab Sustainability Day 2024 that started on Tuesday in the Arab League.
Abul Gheit said that the Arab Sustainability Day was launched in 2023 in cooperation with a number of effective Arab bodies to spread the concepts of sustainability and promote them in the Arab world and review the initiatives aiming at achieving sustainable development agenda 2030.
Abul Gheit said that a number of effective Arab figures and organization will be honored topped by Egyptian Social Security Minister Niven el Kabbag for her appreciated efforts to achieve development in Egypt.
The Palestinian cause remains the longest conflict and affects the security of the region, he said, adding that the two-state solution remains the only formula that the world approved to settle this conflict and end the Israeli occupation to Gaza.
The violent successive crises that took place in the region undermined the Arab efforts and caused the loss of some of its gains, he said.
