CAIRO – The Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EECE) announced that the volume of exports of the sector reached $ 626.2 million in January and February in comparison to $ 629 million in the same period in 2022.
The exports of the sector increased in February by 6.3% to record 348 million dollars in comparison to 327 million dollars in February 2022, according to the monthly report of the EECE on Thursday.
The EECE is working on opening new markets for exportation, EECE Executive Director Mai Helmy said, adding that it focuses on expanding in Africa via trade missions and foreign exhibitions to support the plans of the state to boost exports to 100 billion dollars in the coming years.
