Egypt’s Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki returned to Cairo Sunday, winding up a several days’ official visit to France.
Zaki was received by French Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu who bestowed on him the National Order of the Legion of Honour after the approval of the French president.
The two ministers held a session of talks on cooperation between the two sides and exchanged viewpoints on issues of mutual concern and developments on regional and international arenas.
They said they look forward to more fruitful cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries to support peace and security in the region.
Zaki met with General Thierry Burkhard, French Chief of Defense, and other military commanders to discuss cooperation between the Armed Forces of the two countries.
