Egypt’s Defence Minister Mohamed Zaki met over the past few days with a number of special forces, members of the northern and central military areas, military police and maritime forces.
The meetings began by observing one minute of silence in mourning of the army victims who sacrificed their lives for the sake of homeland.
He conveyed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s appreciation for all army men, saying the Armed Forces will always remain the protective shield of the nation and guards of the country’s security and stability.
He called on all army members to keep their high morale and exercise more to be always at the highest level of vigilance and readiness to maintain the country’s sovereignty.
He chatted with a number of army personnel and listened to their opinions and remarks in different domains.
Army Chief of Staff Osama Askr attended the meetings.
