The Decent Life Foundation sent yesterday thousands of food boxes to villages in Gharbiya Governorate, in a convoy that was jointly organised with leading bottled water company, Safi.
The convoy brought 200,000 food boxes to the villages of the governorate, the foundation said.
It added that 12 trucks loaded with food were sent to Zifta Centre. The 12 trucks, it said, carried 24,000 food boxes.
The foundation added that six additional trucks loaded with food were sent to Samanoud Centre.
Similar trucks were sent to Qutour and Basyoun centres, the foundation said.
