The Decent Life Foundation on Monday launched a series of community dialogues in Egypt’s rural areas as part of the National Dialogue.
This is in accordance with directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and in preparation the second phase of the presidential rural development initiative.
Community dialogues introduce the presidential initiative while the demands and opinions of residents are heard before implementing phase two of the initiative.
Thousands of people from all over Beheira Governorate took part in the discussions to air their views on pressing issues and the aims of the presidential initiative.
Opinions and suggestions will be submitted to the National Dialogue Board in order to extend participation and engagement everywhere in Egypt.
These public meetings are in response to the call by the National Dialogue Board to all active civil entities to hold community dialogues in the governorates.
The coordinators of the Decent Life Foundation said all demands will be reviewed as part of the awareness-raising role of the foundation in serving citizens most in need in the governorates.
