The Cypriot presidency affirmed that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s participation in the Nicosia summit reinforces the strategic partnership between the two countries and adds political momentum and a message of regional unity.
In statements to AlQahera News TV channel on Friday, the Cypriot presidency said Egypt is a key partner in addressing regional challenges, playing an active role in advancing dialogue and promoting stability.
It also praised Egyptian diplomacy for containing the impact of regional crises, noting that Egypt’s participation in the summit reflects its importance in regional security and growing coordination with Europe.
The Cypriot presidency added that the Nicosia summit is an opportunity to unify positions with Cairo, with Egypt and Cyprus leading co-operation efforts in the Eastern Mediterranean.
