CAIRO – Egyptian Culture Minister Ahmed Fouad Hanno asserted the importance of boosting and developing co-operation between Egypt and Bahrain.
The two countries are always seeking to organise joint cultural activities, added Hanno during a meeting with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal on Wednesday.
The meeting offered an important opportunity for probing a number of axes related to intensifying vistas of joint cultural co-operation between the two countries.
In a statement, the Culture Ministry said that both sides agreed on the need of organising joint activities that contribute to promoting the cultural bonds between the two countries in light of co-operation protocols signed by the two nations.
During the meeting, the ambassador emphasized utmost keenness on enhancing cultural co-operation and communication between Egypt and Bahrain in the coming period.
