Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Lt Gen Mohamed Farid attended Wednesday the external command centres Hurricane 62 field training, carried out by a formation from the 3rd Field Army. The exercise is part of the annual combat training plan of the Armed Forces formations and units.
The participating elements displayed elevated combat readiness, and skills in the use of the latest means of command and control to implement the planned tasks in the phases of the exercise.
Lt Gen Mohamed Farid conveyed greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defence and Military Production, General Mohamed Zaki, to the 3rd Field Army personnel, congratulating them on the fasting month of Ramadan. He also commended their high morale and determination to fulfill assigned tasks with efficiency and competency under all circumstances.
