CAIRO- Coptic Catholic Patriarch Ibrahim Ishaq congratulated on Sunday President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for his re-election, wishing him success in his efforts for the prosperity of the homeland.
At the Christmas Mass, the pope said we pray for an end to war and destruction all over the world, calling for laying down foundations of peace and justice and protecting lives of people.
He thanked whoever played a role in alleviating the suffering of refugees and contributed to spreading values of tolerance, mutual respect and acceptance of others in the world.
