CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad pledged the UN climate conference, COP27, that will be hosted by Egypt in November, will be “inclusive”, encouraging all the participants to share the same path.
Addressing a roundtable on youth support and building a new agenda for future generations at the Stockholm +50 conference in Sweden, Fouad expressed her aspiration that COP27 would attract the future generation of young men and women and even children.
The minister also emphasized the need to empower young people and enhance their participation in developing and implementing future directions, according to a press release by the Environment Ministry.
Everyone must take responsibility for protecting life on Earth from being irreversibly damaged by climate change and harmful human activities, she added.
