CBE’s Tarek Amer to chair October meeting of WB, IMF

CAIRO – The World Bank Group chose Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Tarek Amer to chair the annual meeting of the World bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to take place in October.

Governors of central banks together with the finance ministers of the participating countries will take part in the meeting, according to a statement by the CBE on Thursday.

Amer will address the opening meeting as well as the presidents of the WB and IMF.
