CAIRO – The Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS) said that the inflation rate recorded 0.5 per cent at 226.7 points in July 2024, down from 1.8 in June 2024.
In a press release on Thursday, CAPMAS referred to a decline in prices of bread and grains by 1.4%, meat and poultry by 5.7%, oils by 0.8%, cloth by 0.4%, ready-made clothes by 0.3% and tourist tours by 11.6%.
