The International Arab Camel Championship will be held in Sharm el-Sheikh on 27-29 November, soon after the COP27 climate conference, Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi announced yesterday.
The minister expressed his thanks to South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda for his efforts in developing the governorate.
The minister also appreciated the governorate’s preparations for the camel event.
The minister also requested that Fouda be appointed honorary president of the Camel Federation. Sobhi also thanked Dar Al-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing chairman Eyad Abul-Haggag, Al-Masaa chief editor Abdel-Nabi Al-Shahat, chief editor of Al-Gomhuria daily newspaper Abdel-Raziq Tawfik for their efforts to co-organise such an important event.
Dar Al-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing will be the media sponsor for the International Arab Camel Championship.
