Civil Aviation Minister, Mohamed Manar, met in Cairo on Sunday Kazakh Ambassador to Egypt, Kairat Lama Sharif, and his accompanying delegation to discuss co-operation in the field of air transport.
Minister Mannar underscored deep and historical relations between Cairo and Astana
The Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation, the minister said, is keen to enhance communication and co-operation with Kazakhstan in all fields of air transport.
During their meeting, Minister Mannar and Ambassador Sharif discussed a wide range of issues of common interest.
They discussed a potential update of the terms of the air transport agreement between Egypt and Kazakhstan.
They also discussed the possibility of operating regular flights between the two countries and means of enhancing co-operation in the field of air freight.
Ambassador Sharif, for his part, described the meeting with Minister Mannar as ‘fruitful’.
He added that he looks forward to enhancing co-operation and the exchange of expertise with the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation.
