The Cabinet offered condolences over the death of former health minister Ahmed Emad-Eddin who passed away on Monday.
The cabinet said Emad-Eddin was one of the most prominent figures that contributed to developing health services and hospitals.
Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said Emad-Eddin was an icon of the faculty of medicine of Ain Shams University and contributed to the treatment of many people.
The cabinet offered condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, wishing God to invoke his mercy upon him.
