Egypt’s Minister of Military Production Eng. Mohamed Salah Eddin Moustafa met on Monday with Basim Youssef, CEO of El Nasr Transformers and Electrical Products Co (ELMACO), and his accompanying delegation to boost bilateral co-operation in the production of components of transformers(oil and dry) which serve the renewable energy sector.
During the meeting, Minister Salah Eddin presented the role of the Military Production Ministry and its affiliated companies as a cornerstone for military manufacturing in Egypt as well as its role in civil production too.
The Minister said that the military production companies possesses distinguished human, technical and technological abilities which are continually developed. He added that his ministry seeks to foster cooperation with international and local companies working in the similar domains in order to boost its production.
For his part, Basim Youssef , CEO ofELMACO Company, which is affiliated to the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, said that he is looking forward to cooperate with the Military Production Ministry for the production of transformers components. He noted the transformers industry has been flourishing in recent years by the state’s expansion in energy projects. He hailed the high potentials of the military production companies enable them to execute the projects they are commissioned with in an efficient and timely manner.
