Yesterday was a busy news day topped with Berlin conf on Libya, new Thanaweya Amma regulations and new ambassadors to Qatar and Ethiopia.

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri praised, before the Berlin II Conference on Libya, the unprecedented international consensus on the immediate and full withdrawal of all foreign troops from Libya to allow the Libyan people go for their political project without the influence of any armed militias or foreign troops.

Also yesterday, FM Shoukri probed with his German counterpart Heiko Maas the latest regional developments and ways of finding solutions to crises facing the region, topped by the situation in Libya, the Palestinian cause and the GERD.

The US embassy in Cairo announced on Wednesday that Ministry of State for Military Production signed a MoU this week with the US HUMVEE manufacturer AM General to set up a production line for tactical vehicles in Egypt.

Four Egyptian players have advanced to the qualifying matches of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, hosted by Doha on June 23-26. Egypt, along with 24 countries, competes in the tournament to book berths in the Olympic Games.

Board Chairman of the General Authority for Health Care (GAHC) Ahmed El-Sobky reviewed on Wednesday cooperation opportunities with Dedalus Healthcare Systems Group, a leading provider of healthcare IT software in Europe.

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education confirmed on Wednesday that it will announce as of July 3 rules and mechanisms regulating exams in subjects that are not added to the GPA of Thanaweya Amma (high school) students.

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a decree on Wednesday appointing Amr El-Sherbini and Mohamed Omar Gad as ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Qatar and Ethiopia respectively.
