Arab Parliament Speaker Adel Bin Abdulrahman Al-Assomi announced the parliament’s support for the wise policy of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi while managing the crisis of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
Assomi’s remarks came in a word at the inauguration of the fifth general session of the Arab Parliament in the Arab League’s headquarters on Saturday.
He asserted the backing of the Arab Parliament for rights of Egypt and Sudan to the Nile waters.
Assomi called on Ethiopia to immediately stop any steps that would harm water rights of Egypt and Sudan in the Nile water resources.
